Inhouse Pharmacy
For your convenience, West Milton Veterinary Clinic offers a complete line of flea and heartworm protection, as well as, prescription diets for your pet's specific health needs.
State law requires a Veterinarian-Client-Pet Relationship (VCPR) in order for your pet to receive prescription medications. This simply means your pet must be seen by one of our doctors on a regular basis. This law insures the medications are being used safely because a veterinary examination and diagnosis has been made. Learn more... Non-prescription flea medications are available at our clinic when a VCPR has not been established. These flea medications are very effective and safe to use. We caution the use of generic flea treatments as they may contain active ingredients not exactly duplicate to the name brand, meaning they are likely not to be effective. And many generic flea products contain inactive ingredients that can actually cause irritation or other reactions to your pet. If it seems to good to be true, then it probably is. Illegal online pharmacies may sell medicines that are counterfeit, outdated, mislabeled, incorrectly formulated or improperly made and stored. These medicines may not contain the actual drug, may contain contaminants or the incorrect amount of drug, may not work as well due to age or being stored in conditions that were too hot, cold or humid.
